Since starting his DJ career at the young age of 12, James Richards, better know as DJ Richie, has duly earned his title as “The Youngest In Charge”. DJ Richie has quickly become one of the most sought after Youth DJs in the Midwest. He has rocked crowds at over 200 events and has built up an Instagram following of over 6 thousand. DJ Richie has also been given the distinction of being the youngest member to join the DJ and Entertainment collective The ELITEgiance, alongside some of the most popular and experienced DJs in the region.

 

Though self taught, DJ Richie was inspired by watching industry veteran Brandon Washington, professionally known as DJ Duce. As he continued to hone his skills, tragedy struck Richie and his family at the passing of his grandfather. He used DJing as an outlet for his grief which ultimately pushed him forward as an artist.

 

Richie kicked off his career in 2016 at a backyard birthday party for his god brother. It did not take long before Richie had grown beyond the small stages and into packed concert and party venues. Known for his stage presence and crowd control, having put his skills to use opening for artists such as Jack Harlow, Rich The Kid, and 2K Baby.
